Breast Reduction Surgery
About Breast Reduction Surgery
Breast reduction surgery is not just an aesthetic surgery. Many of the women with complaints of chest size are uncomfortable with back and shoulder pain, the curvature that begins in the back vertebrae, and the rash under the chest, especially in the summer. Excessively large breasts not only cause physical discomfort but also affect patients mentally. This surgery is an operation where patient satisfaction is very high.
Breasts are reduced with breast reduction surgery. At the same time, breast lifting is performed and symmetry is tried to be provided between breasts. As with any surgery, breast reduction surgery should be planned individually. Because the needs, expectations and body structure of each patient are completely different.
During the surgery, breast tissue is removed and new breast shape is provided. The removed breast tissue is sent to the pathology laboratory for examination. If needed, liposuction can be applied to the sides of the rib cage to shape the breast.
