Neck lift surgery is a cosmetic surgery that removes excess fat in the neck area and improves the appearance of the neck. Neck lift surgery is done to provide a younger and better appearance. Before Surgery

• Aspirin, anti-inflammatory drugs, and herbal supplements should not be taken before surgery, as they may increase bleeding.
• As with any surgery, smoking should be stopped.
• Before the operation, laboratory tests or medical evaluations are necessary.

Operation Process

Neck lift takes approximately 1-2 hours. The operation can be performed under general or local anesthesia depending on the patient. During the operation, a small incision is made under the chin and behind the ears. Starting from the chin line, the oils under the chin are repositioned, the skin is tightened and bandaged again. After surgery, a neck brace is worn on the recommendation of the surgeon.

After the Surgery

The patient must stay overnight in the hospital. The head should be kept upright and the special corset should be worn for 1 week. The bruises that occur after surgery disappear within a week. After 1 week, you can start your daily activities and sports.
