About Tip Rhinoplasty

Tip rhinoplasty is a cosmetic surgical procedure in which the anatomical structure of the nasal bone is normal, but to correct the deformity at the tip of the nose.

Before Operation

• In the interview, first of all, your current complaints and post-operative expectations are evaluated.
• The image of your nose is taken from 8 different angles and the possible image after the operation is shown to you on the computer.
• The photos of the operated noses before and after the surgery are shown and the day of surgery is decided.

Operation Technique

A closed rhinoplasty technique is used. There is no trace outside of the nose as it is processed through the nose. Because the nasal bone anatomy is normal, no action is taken on the bone. The cartilage and soft tissue that form the nose tip structure are reshaped. Lowness, excessive height or asymmetry at the tip of the nose, curvature in the nose, nose tip, nostrils are corrected and an aesthetic appearance is provided. After giving the nose a new aesthetic shape, special tapes are attached to the outside of the nose.

Operation Process

• The operation varies between 30-60 minutes depending on the size of the problem in the nose.
• Local or general anesthesia is preferred.

Healing Process

• The patient is discharged on the same day after the operation.
• Tapes on the nose are removed 5-7 days after the operation. During this process, a shower can be taken.
• According to the nose structure, the patient is shown how to massage the nose tip.
• The tip of the nose takes its final shape about 6 months.
